Tonight I went to my first yoga class with Evaristo. He is a good teacher, low profile, giving instruction in a very gentle way. He doesn’t force us to do anything hurts and he encourage us to accept what’s our capacity, but in a very unobvious way. I did enjoy it very much, especially the balancing poses on my tips of fingers and one foot.

However, there was a moment that I was not sure about my ability to do tonight’s yoga before I went, as my left foot still was a problem. I can’t be forced to do any pose that requires arching the instep of my left foot and I can’t afford doing full lotus at this moment. But I didn’t want to miss out the very first class, so I went to see if I can handle it.

My husband reckoned I was over-excited about tonight’s class. 40 minutes before the class started, he pointed out my evident anxiety and longing towards the coming event. He made fun of me. Well, maybe he was right. I was so glad that FINALLY, it’s all happening.
