Look what a fantastic job that my mom has done! Isn’t she brilliant! I could imagine how she managed to knit the last sleeve with her magnify glasses and crossed eyes staring at those cable charts, and sweating…. Hehe, I was like that when I was in Beijing.
It’s such a successful co-work on one project. Mom had finished what I couldn’t finish up there and now it’s all done beautifully. You couldn’t even tell which part was done by me or my mom. I was joking with Mom yesterday that now she can even knit a project with English instructions. The world just opens up more doors for us
I think no one could be more happier than Yaya (Maybe I am a little bit more happier than she is). This is a sweater for her after all. Though it was still hot in Beijing, she still put it on and let my Dad take these photos to show me how it looks like.
I am very satisfied, I have to say. It makes me more confident with knitting with pure wool. And seriously, I felt it’s nothing that can compare to knit with quality yarn, like good wool, and the effect of a project is obviously much better than cheap yarn.
I am hoping Yaya would really love this one that her grandma and aunt made for her together, and she would find it really wearable and enjoyable to have it on in those chilly winter days.
