I walked about 20 meters away from the main entrance of the office and was going to fetch the mails. I felt something wrong but I didn’t know what it was. I kept walking until…I looked down the ground.
Guess what did I see? I had my two different shoes for each of my feet. There was no way to miss noticing this stupid mistake as one is suede black which is the one I always leave in the office under my desk, and another one is creamy which is from the pair of shoes I wear for walking of ravel to work and from.
Go back to get a change? Or keep going like this? Within seconds, I was grabbed by a funny thought and I decided to keep walking and see what’s gonna happen. There is only 5 minutes’ walk from my office to HACC. Nobody noticed that, even the receptionist sitting near the pigeon holes. Hehe….the only one who worries about this was ME. I laughed at the stupid behaviours I acted myself and also was stirred by the crazy thought of “people might be actually more stupid than me”.
Haha…..they might not care, so they don’t really look or observe what’s going on around them. I also asked myself “would I notice it if someone else is wearing the wrong shoes passing by me?” Certainly the answer is “NO”. It’s not something new or surprising, because for most of the time, I believe, we all are just passengers to our lives, not a good observer at all.
