She is there again!!! I couldn’t help standing beside her and taking a close look at her body. This is not the first time for me to notice all the unusual things about her. Actually my interest in this unique-designed creature could probably go back to the first week I started to work around this parking place. It somehow gives me a chance to see all kinds of her fellow mates when I am waiting for a lift in here everyday after my work hours. This one……My Goodness….is so special and you just couldn’t get the eyes off her.
Well, I would rather describe her as a toy than a car, maybe a masterpiece of toy cars. The cute body, the beautiful curve and the huge front and rear screen windows like two big eyes winking…..Gosh! She is a real cutie. In addition, there are a couple of logos printed on the both sides. One of them is “Impression Skin Care”. The first letter “i” is designed to look like a woman’s curved body. And another one is “I love scooter” followed by a scooter website address. Everything about her is so cute and so funny, I just can’t help laughing.
Who would be that lucky driver or owner to drive her around? When I was picturing a funky-dressed cute girl with funny curly blonde hair driving her on the road, a rough-looked guy came over. He opened the door of the”toy” and stood outside starting to take off his jumper. My God! Does this cutie belong to him? A 50s old man wearing his old jeans and having his beard not completely shaved?
I had to say something, so I started with “what a cute car! Is it yours”? He said “yes” with some slight European accent. Well, he is also a drifter from overseas just like me. However, he was very friendly, telling me enough information about this beauty. I asked him if he had done some modification on this car, he told me it is an original design and was imported from overseas. His son bought it for the businesspurpose from Melbourne, and there are only other 3 in Canberra. He even showed me how big it is inside. He got into the car and tried to stand up straight. It’s amazing. The car can really almost hold his entire height, which proves that it is very suitable for carrying the goods or being used as a wagon.
Anyway, the only thing about this car made me feel a little bit disappointed after our conversation was her brand. It is “NISSAN”…….Alas! The Japanese thing again!
