There is one more sleeve to go, but I decided to leave it to Mom. I seriously don’t think that I could manage to finish 3 repeated 30 rows pattern within two days, plus the addition factors which include that I am still sick, the weather is terribly humid and hot, and I have to pack and prepare other things for the coming trip.

Mom will be okay. She is far more experienced than I am. The only thing that worries me is that she has to read English knitting instruction to finish the project. I had prepared a table to reduce the confusion as possible as I could, as this is going to be a continuation of the unfinished pattern (starts from 26th row) and the middle big cable pattern is actually not progressing exactly in the same pace as the other two small cable patterns at the sideways.

While I was knitting, I always used a pencil to make ticks to record the finished rows. Mom and my sister, and my husband used to laugh at me as this was considered as very unexperienced knitting behaviour. However I just love it. I would rather look unexperienced than making lots of unnecessary mistakes. Actually I have been greatly beneficial from this, and I believe that Mom would follow my league if she starts to knit it.

So, a quite delightful water blue sweater with lots of cables (but in the right place), such as big one in the middle of body and sleeves as well as small ones starting from the waist line, which gives a quite slim look and adds a bit touch of elegance and feminie. Every female I can find in this house had tried it on. It looks extremely great on my niece and my mom, though there is only one sleeve.

I even began to think about making another one for myself later on as I know it won’t disappoint me. But next time, I would definitely use circular needle to avoid the ugly lines created by using 3 dpns on the sleeves, as well as on the body.
