I finally put the Xmas tree up. Last year I pulled the tree out from the storage in middle of November and it stayed until the Australia Day (I know, it’s too long!!!). So last year when I was taking the tree down, I kind of decided that I have to start to set up my Xmas rules, which includes many things but the most important of it is the time for tree out. I made it”MUST” later than 1st of December, sometime in the first weekend of December.
I very much stick to my rules this year. Now my tree looks stunning when the lights on. That’s the best time of a year for people who has a child’s heart and seeks fun in her life all the time. And now, even as a pagan, or claimed as an antitheist if you want a nicer word, I can still enjoy some features of Christmas. The colourful decorations, the pretty lights and the way to fold every branch of tree up and hand the balls on the tips of the branches, squint the eyes to look from different angles and finally, turn the light on….these are so much as perfect as it can get to rewind myself and being creative as well.
Unlike many of others, I don’t have a major theme colour for my Xmas tree for each year. My philosophy of Xmas decor collection is always “as many and varieties as possible”. That’s the only time I can totally ignore the occurrence of a bad colour coordination, which I try to avoid everyday. It’s Christmas, right? If you can’t make yourself not care, then when would you?

Beautiful! My tree’s being delivered today. I love decorating my tree and have taken pictures of the ornaments, just like you do!
