The gardening season has almost passed. Now I barely go to the courtyard and pay attention to my pots.

In the past 4 months, I had seen so many plants thriving in our very small potted garden, pansies, petunias, Virginia stocks, hydrangea, chili, succulents, and all different sorts of annual summer varieties. Even the winter glow bloomed with several dozens of little bell shaped lime coloured flowers.

I was happy but not so much overwhelmed, until I finally laid my eyes on one of our oldest plants, the Dragon’s Wings (begonia). I just couldn’t believe it. It’s a phenomenon in our house. This plant died and came back once upon a time, and it just gives the best that I could ever imagine.

It doesn’t matter it’s a hot day or a cold day, sunny or rainy, as long as avoid the frost, this plant will just go go and go. It blooms from the beginning until the world is destroyed. It actually got crazy in those extremely hot days a month ago. The flowers just come out all the time, non-stopping. And the leaves had never looked wilted and always seems green and supple like succulent sort of feeling, even though I forgot watering. They just love sun, heat, humidity or whatever is offered outdoor.

And I just love them to death. So much wanted to get another one to make it a pair. So If someone asked me what plant does the best in pots outside and gives you the most satisfaction, I would give this plant 5 stars. It’s simply the best happening in my gardening life.
