Well, now it’s the time to plan to plant something. This afternoon I spent about an hour on gardening, which sounds ridiculous as I don’t really own a garden or anything like that. What I have is several empty plastic pots that came in with plants I bought last year and died at some point in the past, 20 liters soil and a bunch of exciting ideas on my mind. Also I owned some indoor plants which have been struggling for a survival in our home. One is some sort of palm and was partly destroyed by Mimi on his last day with us (my husband spoiled him to jump on the coffee table to do whatever he wanted to do); the other one is money tree whose leaves lately turn yellow and we have no idea what’s wrong with it. I also have two Australian Native plants from our Citizenship Ceremony which look okay at this stage, and, a dying Aloe Vera from my girlfriend Jessy. It seems like I am the person who can’t keep the plants healthy in the home, but never gives up trying something new
Anyway, I transplanted my new lettuce into a bigger tub, moved two Australian plants into two bigger square pots, sowed a packet of flower seeds into 3 small pots, and 15 garlic cloves into another tub. I also transferred my dead Dragon Wings from a hanging basket into another pot, hoping she will come back in this spring. Now, I am waiting for some miracle happen in the next a couple of weeks.
For the coming spring, I am planning to get two hanging baskets filled in with flowers or whatever have nice looking, and something new for indoor, like ferns or something looks short but chubby. I hate tall and thin plants as all the stuff that I could keep all turn up very tall and thin
I am also thinking about succulent and fern. I love them very much although they are kind of at the two opposite poles of plant species. For fern, I love them always being fresh green and for succulent, I always find them in the amazing shapes and surprised by their tolerance level to heat, drought and a bad carer
