We went to Deakin again with friends this time to have our “kind of weekly” Yum-Cha lunch. This time I wasn’t a smarter eater and got still very full after that. Then after the lunch we went to Manuka to have some coffee.
This is a Sunday afternoon. Everything is supposed to be very slow. We just sat there out in the sun chatting and watching the pigeons pecking their food from the floor.
I can’t even remember what we talked about…..their pet bird Rosie laid 4 eggs recently which had been stolen by a crow, my new item in the wishlist—a ragdoll cat, the crazy time in the office, the challenging job as a teacher, the motorbike gangs, our exciting plan to go to the Snowy Mountain this winter….
You know, sometimes I do feel that growing up and becoming an adult is a wonderful thing. Remember when I was young, there was no much time that I can afford to spend this way, not just financially but also mentally.
However, have you ever seen a passion fruit flower? It fascinates me. We found this strange flower hanging down under the pergola outside of a coffee shop in Deakin. We were amazed and wondered what the flower was.
So everybody was looking for a hint to find the answer. Finally our friends looked up and found a fruit. Hee….that’s a passion fruit, then, this is supposed to be passionfruit flower. Our friends then got excited about that, as they just had planted a new one in their backyard. So now they know what to expect
and us, therefore found a link between the little seeds found in yoghurt occassionally and the mother nature
