I think I am stuck with my current knitting project, a lacy wrap cardigan work from Sandra Hand Knitting magazine. The project is not hard at all, but it demands a lot of time looking at the pattern chart all the time and with using 4mm knitting needles and a tunic length loose fit cardi, I am kind of losing my confidence as well as my interest and patience to finish it before the summer actually ends.

I think I need something new to start up, something quick but required varieties of knitting skills, something that combines interesting details and mindless knitting…..how about the short version cable sweater in this photo?

I don’t know, maybe all the knitters have this sort of moment in their knitting experience, “while doing one thing, looking at another”? When I was looking back, I think I have been a very slow and not a very productive knitter at all. I have only done 4 big garments for the whole year 2008. If I keep pacing like this, I reckon I won’t need to buy any new yarn in the next 2 years
