Due to my husband’s condition, I have been off Yoga practise for almost two weeks. I skipped last week’s Yogalated class on Tuesday so to have him home for a couple hours for dinner. Two Saturday’s home self-practise also had been cut, but the funny thing is that I couldn’t remember why I didn’t find the time to do it.

Maybe it was because of stress, time or the mood…..I have never been so impressed with how stress can affect people’s body this much. I was tired and got severe headache when confronting what was happening in the last week, but after my husband came out of the hospital, I’ve also got sore throat and it took me several days of medication treatment and going back to bed much earlier to get recovered.

Now the symptons seem all clear, but I’ve got stiff body cries for streching. I am desperate to go back to practise tomorrow evening. Even though I have a feeling that this Yogalates class probably is a bit light to me and I hope the teacher can quickly add it on, otherwise I have to seek some other more intensive Yoga class next term.

So is my husband. He is on the “rat poison” but wants to go back to dragon boat training ASAP. Isn’t this funny? If your body already get used to be active in a certain way, it’s just hard to stop. The same thing applies the opposite way as well – if your body already get used to be lazy, it’s hard to make it move
