Considering the spring time is coming, my new round of adventure of beating my running nose and sneezing is right on its way.

I Actually had totally quit fighting for it, and I even couldn’t be bothered seeing a doctor to find out why I get that, what I’ve got and how to treat it. Basically I found it extremely hard to even decide if I have sinusitis, or cold or allergy.

Recently I read an article from a medical professional talking about Sinusitis. The information was very helpful but even with a detailed form listing the different symptoms for Sinus, Allergy and Cold, I still couldn’t completely decide where I am up to. For example, “itchy eyes”, I certainly have itchy eyes when I am sneezing or about to sneez, but I don’t think I have itchy eyes all the time. So where should I fit in this one to?

My husband insisted that the very beginning of what I’ve got is caused by catching a cold. And all the symptoms are related to catching a cold, no matter it looks like allergy or sinusitis or something else. Even though I am having an allergy or sinusitis, it’s still caused by COLD. I have serious doubts on that as the very deep feelings of mine told me “THIS IS NOT COLD”. But I couldn’t prove it.

When I was in China many years ago, I caught colds from time to time and after several days, everything was clear, then I was fine. I think I started to develop this ONLY AFTER I came to Australia. “THE COLD” never got healed and I just constantly sneeze, have running nose and congested nose. I can tell you that in the past 5 years, I have never had one week having both nostrils clear. It was better for some days but worse on other days. When it was really bad, I breathe with my mouth. That’s why sometimes when I woke up in the morning, I found the top of my tongue almost dry to crack broken. When I was in China for holidays, I was totally fine and for the whole period of my holiday, no matter it was for 4 weeks or 6 weeks or two months, or no matter it was in a winter or a summer, I had never sneezed even once.

Why do people believe that they know better about another person’s situation than the person him/herself? I gave up….
