My husband is out of hospital now. He is on Warfarin 3mg per day and due for another blood test tomorrow morning. He is feeling okay, except a very slight pain around the chest. Doctor said his X-ray that had been taken yesterday showed that he is going back to normal. Let’s hope so. The clots gotta dissolved finally but it will just take some time. We will get to see the specialist Dr. Pidcock on 11th April and hopefully by that time all the blood test result will be back and doctor can find something to tell us what caused the problem (or maybe he won’t).
The trip to China in this June has been put on the hold and Dr. Hingley didn’t think it a good idea. We will have to wait and see how he goes.My husband wanted to go back to his dragon boat training ASAP and I am now the boss to get to say “Yes” or “No”. Currently I am using my power to say “No, not now” although I know keeping active is actually good for him. I am just not sure about whether his breath will do fine during the training.
I also have to be really cautious about what veggies that I can cook and give to him as leafty veggie, like spanich, asperugus and some sort of green vegetable contains high level of Vitamin K and interferers with the function of Warfarin which has to be avoided. It’s not pleasant to do that as he loves veggies and in recent a couple of years, we have been largely eating huge amount of veggies. Now they all need to be re-considered.
