This week has been extremely boring. But thanks the God, after so many days of ambiguous look of our sky, it finally rained. At least we can wash the car and I will have a good sleep covered by my cotton quilt tonight.
I spent half of my work time folding Origami cranes. The paper provider is one of my colleagues who is renovating her new bought house and going to decorate her daughter’s room with hanging paper cranes down the curtain rode. She is a very artistic person and does lots of handmade crafty things, but origami drives her nuts. That’s what she told me and I did see her struggling a lot.
So I took the job of paper folding and she will finished the rest, including threading cranes with fishing strings and beads to fix them in place to prevent them slipping off. I also got promise from her that she will take a photo to show me the final look in her daughter’s room. Well, that sounds lovely.
I was amazed by myself still remembering the childhood paper project, even though I did forget lots of them on my way up till now where I am
I was also inspired by my own action of making them (God, they look so cute…..), which somehow triggered the idea of making something for my own home. I might do that with prettier paper.
