Spotlight is selling some of the Moda Vera yarns with 50% off price. I couldn’t get enough to see so many kinds of pretty yarns only cost 2 buck a ball (50 g or 100g). I grabbed 5 balls of 100g Mandorla Printed, with a blend of light purple and different shades of yellow, from beige to brown. It touches so soft because it contains 50% merino wool. I wanted to get more of other varieties, but I couldn’t think of any single project at that moment. I was afraid to buy the wrong quantity of yarn, so I tried hard to constrict my itchy heart and hands.
I think I need to work out a budget for this year’s yarn and my other hobbies. I am so attracted to that kind of materials that every time I go crazy thinking that “I should buy more before I decide what to knit”. It’s not always going in an expected way where you want to knit something, then you look for a pattern, and then you know how much yarn you need, and then you buy it in shop, and then you knit it. Sometimes it goes totally opposite way…You find your favourite yarn with reasonable price, then you buy it, then you decide what you can knit, and then you look for the appropriate patterns, and then you knit. I don’t know which way I should go. But for a crazy head, neither of these two ways can feed me up well. I am so thirsty……
Anyway I got the new yarn for the new year. I was so happy, and looking forward to make a jacket as showed above in the picture. Do you like the design?
