We’ve got another new fresh food market open in the River Plaza. If Lily didn’t tell me about that, probably I wouldn’t have known about it till the end of the world. Anyway I paid my first visit 4 days ago, that was already 2 weeks later since the opening. Lily said the commercial has been going on for nearly one month already. I didn’t know anything about that until the last weekend. How isolated I am! But the good thing is, having a friend who cares about daily living or who can have a conversation with you about cooking, shopping and stuff like that is absolutely cool. I wouldn’t know how much I would have missed if I didn’t have someone like Lily.

Anyway, I’ve been there. It’s called Mother Nature Fresh Food Market. I love their Logo. A big chubby nanny holding all varieties of vegetable and fruit in her arms. And she is smiling, nearly out of the normal shape of her face. The market apprently is focused on food stuff and the pricing is more attractive than Woolworth. They are particularly good at Italian or Greek style food, from bread, olives to meat cutting, the whole range thing. The guys working there pretty much are like the ones working in Fyshwick who love shouting to promote their products, which makes the purchase very enjoyable and entertaining.

It’s also amazing to get to know that they have some Chinese vegetable like Lou Boks, Gailan, snake beans and Bok Choi available and as cheap as they are in Fyshwick, like 99 cents a bunch. They also have wide range of fruit and I bought at least 7 varieties of them for my birthday last Friday. Anyway, we can’t see any point to go to Fyshwick in this weekend, so we finally decided to stay in, killing the Sunday time slothfully.
