Jessy rang me today and said she has lauched her own blog at Sina. Wow, I am so glad for her. She has been wanting to do this for quite a while and it was just a matter of finding her favourite blog websites that she feels comfortable with and clicking some buttons to get them applied.She finally chose Sina which is probably not my first choice but both she and I know that there is still some sort of accessing problem with Blogger and Wordprss for Chinese Internet users, so I guess that Sina IS the best solution at this stage as it causes less trouble if you want your blog to be seen by your Chinese readers back home.

But guess what, Jessy got about 135 hits within a week’s time while I’ve got only about 3900 hits since I started this wordpress blog from last May. I believe that if I was with Sina, I would have probably got more readers than I have now. But see, the problem is, I actually blog purely for myself and if I had ever cared, I would have promoted more about my blog. I suppose if I’ve got thousands of visitors a day, I will be thrilled. But if I have no one for the day, I will still be happy. To me, there will be no difference at all to affect how I feel about the life and my writing.
