I made a decision last night that I am going to have every Wednesday as my vegetarian day. However, I really have no intention to become a vegetarian at all, as I know I could never practise as a strict vegetarian at the end of the day.
I think I probably will be fairly okay with a diet without red meat, poultry, seafood and dairy products, like cheese , but I love eggs, so I guess I am more like a “Vego” in stead of a vegan. “Ovo Vegerarian” would be a more suitable word for the description of my future image
Also, a very strict vegetarian even would try to avoid wearing silk, wool, fur, leather and other animal products as fabric. I don’t think I can do that, especially wool, I can’t imagine I have a knitting hobby without wool in my stash. So I know pretty well about my feelings, “nah, can’t do it….and wouldn’t bother to do it….”
The main reason I want to have a vego day is to get a day off for my stomach and to allow the whole digest system clean itself. I wouldn’t mind the little pork mince that I had taken in the congee this morning (it was very little and I couldn’t really separate them from the rice), but I don’t want to consume any meat and eggs. I still eat a normal serves of everything else, like rice, vegetable and fruit. At the same time, I am forcing myself to drink more water……
Yes, I know it looks like a plan to loose weight, but it is not ![]()
