My bet for this year’s horse racing is $2.00. I will bet on Yeats(3rd place), Tawqeet (1st place) and Maybe Better (2nd place). These are 3 horses who had great performance in the recent half year’s racing events. Last year I blew up 2 dollars, but had a big fun except that I didn’t drink. Girls here already got started to organize the afternoon tea and sweeps. I am a totally novice on this, but with last year’s experience, I know I would enjoy a lot from watching the show and cheering for the potential winners.

Now it’s 1:27pm. I need to run to HACC to do the mails before the race starts. Sure I will get back here later with the result and a full stomach:-)

3:30pm Okay, here is the result:

Delta Blue came to the first, and then is Pop Rock. The third place is Maybe Better. I got 4 horses (Mahtoum, Short Pause, headturner and Geodieland), but none of them is my favourite. My guessing on Maybe Better was correct, but I didn’t get the sweep. Once again I blew up 2 dollars.

But I had Cheddar cheese, Edam cheese, Smoked cheese and Camember cheese, with water crackers. Also lots of fruit, kiwi, orange, strawberry and rock melon. Sue asked me why I didn’t want to bet on Japanese horses, I just said it’s a long story.
