Well, it’s the time for this annual fun thing again.
This year we decided to do a hat competition in the office due to lady madness
, but I ended up giving up the idea of wearing a hat, instead of that, I did flower (not quite a fascinator), a bright blue-ish flower with some beads on the petals and a few feathers. So I pretty much just clipped the flower on my hair a bit above my left ear, which made me look ridiculously tropical and I suppose that I probably only need a straw skirt and a bra, so I would finish the final touch of a real Hawaiian scene
Well, I think this is not too bad, and I can afford to fool myself at least once a year
This year I drew 4 horses, Profound Beauty, Master O’Reilly, Zipping and Varevees. Again, I didn’t win anything, not first to third prize, not last prize. I guess my luck in gambling has never been good in my life, that’s why I don’t spend money on lotto or anything like that. Instead, I really believe in hard work and the efforts that I made, though I would really love to see miracles.
Lunch was great! We made a shaved meat and cheese platter and a BBQ chicken. I had one champagne, then I ended up having had a lot of peppermint choc cream then had a bad reflux later of the afternoon
Again, my flower decoration didn’t win me any prize in our hat competition, but I do like the way how that female governor dressed today. Black hat with B&W flower textile outfit, a very smart dresser!
Horses? They actually mean nothing to me. To me, they all look the same. I will quote exactly the same as that Japanese owner of the winning horse in his speech to finish my post: “bye….” and see you next year!
