I did enjoy this long weekend. It was very relaxing and restful. I finished most of housework on Thursday night, and distributed the rest of them into 3 days, so there was no pressure at all. I felt that it’s been quite a while I could not have a rest like this. Every weekend was occupied by this or that sort of things, with people coming over or we going out. Sometimes we had some quiet Sundays, but that was not long enough to lose my nerves. But this weekend has been so good, and I did a lot but didn’t feel exhausted at all.

We listened to a lot of Jazz songs at home. Thanks the fast downloading speed of ADSL 2+, a song with an ordinary size about 3M only needs 5 seconds to get it done. My husband wrote the good ones into CD, so we can hear it downstairs with our speaker system. I listened to Eva Cassidy, Jane Moheit, Katie Melua, Silje Nergaard, Patricia Barber, Lisa Ekdahl and Carmen Crusta-Loeb’s other albums, feeling I was in a heaven. I also did some knitting. Besides I looked after and cared for my flowers and plants, also tried to figure out if my fish knows me and my husband. We had some easy but delicious food from Suan Cai Yu, La Ba Zhou to Wontons. I began to treat my feet with heel balm cream, and it started to take effect. The skin of my heels improved a lot after I applied it for only a couple of times. I digged up an old Chinese TV series, also my favourite one “Xue Se Lang Man” (Blood-Coloured Romance) to review. After a couple of episodes, I felt I was still attracted deeply by characters’ fates and stories as much as I was in the first time. What if this long weekend would never end!!!
