I’ve been craving for lamb for quite a while. However, after Emma couple’s last visit, we have been eating the lamb she bought us from Sydney for quite a while. My husband had got sick of my spicy lamb stew, which really put me off cooking lamb in that way, so for tonight’s dinner, I decided to do something different. I came out with these delicious lamb skewers.

It’s really easy to make, and it can be done with any ingredients you have in hands as long as you have lamb :-) I just cut big chunks of lamb leg meat into about 2.5 -3cm cubic size and marinade them with light soy sauce or steaming fish sauce for about 10 minutes, and then string them into a skewer with half cooked carrot slices, shallot strips and roughly chopped onion pieces.

When cooking, I used fry pan with a bit vegetable oil; turn the skewers occasionally to make sure they get cooked through at the end. Don’t forget to sprinkle any flavours you like to give it an impressive taste in the first 5 minutes. I used a bit salt, quite amount of chilli powder and cumin seeds. Turn your stove on medium to high heat and make sure they are completely cooked through, which probably would take about 10-15 minutes for one batch.

Yummmmmmmm:-)
