The rules you have to abide by when I am knitting:
-Don’t talk to me because this could be very distracting;
-Don’t talk to me because I can only do one thing at a time. Since I am doing knitting, I can not listen to you very well;
- Don’t talk to me please, no matter you are in an emergent situation or not, I don’t care because I am knitting;
-Don’t come to me with any good news or important issues; I won’t listen;
-Please don’t talk to me because I am counting the stitches. The number could be wrong AGAIN and I might forget slip one stitch or bring the yarn forward.
-Don’t you see I am doing something complicated? I am not just doing a knit-and-purl scarf, I am making holes, which is very new and challenging for me. I need to concentrate;
-Don’t talk to me. I mean it. I am very serious about my first project. I have had at least 3 times of experience undoing part of the work, I don’t want it any more whatsoever;
I was supposed to finish the lace pattern last night and start the right sleeve, but I was stuck there. You know why? Because I knitted wrong. The reason I knitted wrong is because I was not concentrating enough since you talked to me. I undid the last row, then another row, then another….until I undid the whole 12 rows did I get the right stitches I could insert my needles in. It was very very frustrating. You wouldn’t want to know about it, so…DON”T TALK TO ME PLEASE!!!!!
