I had a reflection about why I made this pumpkin after I’ve done it and I realised that there have at least three major reasons: 1) digging up my stash, every colour of yarn has been left just too few to make anything. 2) I was very bored, desperately needing something totally out of my league to knit. 3) It must be quick and fun….

So I browsed the Internet and found CurlyPurly’s Pumpkin Knitting Pattern. I am totally not a toy knitter and had never ever been interested in knitting a toy, but left-over yarn, a couple of free hours and an occassional playful heart can make people change. I didn’t only kill the left-overs, but also some worn cloth (cut to small pieces for stuffing).

I know it’s Christmas and New Year holiday, and the Hallowen Day has gone two months ago. But I suppose that I could decide when I can have my fun, could I? Here is another one – Alien is landing on the earth
