I’ve got subcontracted by one of my colleagues to knit a home for her naked cell phone. What a honour!!! :-)

Now I have browsed enough to decide which pattern I want to go, though there were ideas passing through my mind from Fair Isle colour work, to beaded work, then to loopy design, then cable work. Now I pretty much know what I want to knit, and I have finished about 2/3 so far.

The interesting thing was this time I got to be introduced to OP shops (meaning opportunity shop or second hand clothing shop). We went there in lunch time and I bought 4 fancy square wooden buttons for only 50 cents for my newly finished jackets and my colleague bought 3-4 balls of pure wool yarn that had never been used at a price of 2 bucks. What a bargain!!! The buttons are almost new and would cost at least 2-3 buck for each if they are sold in Spotlight. And with the wool, I guess if you just knit some very small project, OP shops are the best place to dig out your favourite yarn. The only thing I hate is the smell in those shops.

You know what? Sometimes I am thinking if I had time to do more knitting work, I could have knitted something to sell, then I can donate all the money I earn from sells to those charities. Well, it’s just a thought. I guess the only thing that I am really struggling with in this world, is the TIME.
