It’s good to have only another 3 days to go for the rest of this week. December and April are the time that working people could always have something to look forward to. Xmas, Easter, Anzac Day, etc., even you don’t really get a long break, the mood would still be affected by what other people are doing out there. Shopping, eating out, celebrating, lots of programs on, buying things…..stuff like that. People just consistently seek an excuse to make them feel better for the life they live with
However, with the past Easter holiday, we didn’t do much except for getting Mimi. I noticed that we haven’t been anywhere new since we came back from China in the mid 2006. But we had been to Sydney for a couple of times, also attended a couple of weddings here and there.
Funnily, in the week right before the Easter Holiday, I was really missing my family in China, even imagining the possibility to go back (Home sickness is just something only happens when you get older). I know it’s impossible for this year. We have been planning something big for 2008. Not really have had an actual plan, but we had mentioned about that. At least it is a thought. I call this 2006 my transition year, and 2007 my consolidating year. 2008? Haven’t named it yet, but would be something like fun or excitement?
