Hehe…couldn’t wait to the end of the work…. here is the one sock I have finished this morning. Pure cotton, natural colour, such thin yarn that I reckon 1.5mm needle would still work well with it. I love the leaves pattern which is from Knitty.com. It’s called Kew and said a secret family recipe (Wow! I don’t know socks could have secret recipe :-) ).

I found the designer did a much better job than I did if you check out the we bsite. She’s got perfect yarn of her choice and beautiful texture well matching the material. Mine is a big loose although I used much bigger needle size 2.75mm to obtain the gauge while she only used 2.5mm ones. It fits but it’s quite an easy fit, but I refused to admit that it’s a failure of my measurement:-) Okay…..I know, it would look much better if I had used 4ply merino yarn or something similar.

My husband was once again amazed, like how I was. I told him that knitting is really a fun and relaxing hobby to me! The thing that finally turns out not only often surprises those outsiders, but also surprises me, the knitter. It’s quite a satisfying feeling each time I sense. I don’t know how it works like this. I must have been seeking the pleasure of enduring however hard the work is, in order to see the ending.
