I bought a hair straightener yesterday. Sounds odd, doesn’t it?
“You’ve got straight hair already. What do you need a hair straightener for?” That’s the question what my husband asked, and that is not odd to ask
I simply answered “it will make my hair straighter”, then I’ve got an expression of :-O on his face. I guess the next question would be “how could your hair be straighter?” But he didn’t keep pressing as both he and I know, this has gone far beyond the capacity of a man’s understanding.
What about let the fact speak out for its own? “That’s the only solution. Do a bit demonstration and show him the effect”, I think. So I tried it out tonight after a shower. I held a small portion of my wet hair between the ceramic & Telfon plates and slide down slowly. I can see the steam coming out of the little holes at the back of the plate and the sounds of sizzling like the dish called hot plate sizzling beef
The hair instantly became dry and straight like a piece of silk. After 10 minutes, I’ve done all the hair, and I shake my head in front of my poor fellow. He had a look carefully, said no comments, but he asked “you must want to use it everyday, do you?” Well, I took it as a compliment
That how his sounds like, the tone and the way how he talks, so typical of him!
The thing I liked the most was there was no noise had been made with the process. I no longer need to worry about the noise from a hair blow dryer that disturbs a quiet night. Also, it’s so fast to dry the hair, even directly working on the wet hair, it won’t cost you more than 10 minutes. Comparing to a hair blow dryer, it’s a tremendous progression. Remember how you do your hair with a blow dryer? You blow and blow, your hair is still not dry enough
Another thing, it’s much smaller and lighter than a hair dryer. I could put it in any size of suitcase when going for a trip.
My one is Remington Wet 2 Dry.
