Canberra is well known for its colourful autumn season. However with the time passing by and so many things going on in my daily life, my attention has been distracted greatly. I almost have forgotten that it used to be something attracted me so much in the first place, until late of this afternoon, when I walked all my way home alone, couldn’t help noticing the beautiful view along both road sides.

There are at least 5 different shades in one tree, from green, yellow, golden brown, orange to flaming red. The sunshine cast its golden beams on the road, giving a soft and warm look to houses, fence, trees, flowers and everything. I can’t help starting to look for my camera in the handbag while walking. There were too many that I could have taken, but I had to compress my impulse to avoid myself looking like a stupid tourist who was too easy to be moved by what she sees, or a spy peeking on someone else’s properties.

But I had my glimpse at the house I pass by everyday. I always admire its spacious garden almost like a free style farm. Most of gardens have too many traces of human being’s manipulation, but this one, as natural as it can get. I took this photo as quickly as I can, so didn’t have time for adjusting my angles and other settings in the camera. However, a picture is worth a million words. It gives a bit idea about what I wanted to say, does it?
