I guess after last night’s giant meal, I was just not surprised to see my breakfast order turning up at the door way this morning. The people in Young always eat this much?

Today’s schedule is to drive to Boorowa to do our promotion presentation. It wasn’t an exciting day as much as the one we had in Young, as Boorowa is really a small country town and has nothing, not even a florist shop. So you can imagine when we were having discussion around possible support available to our carers at today’s forum, how did it look like? People were really depressed about what’s happening in there.

But I found this town is actually very tidy and well maintained. The streets are very quiet and clean and behind its big park at the back of this clock tower, I saw the flowers from a tree that I haven’t seen since I was about 8 years old.

I think it belongs to the category of “Rong Shu”, as it has very long and fluffy poking things at the centre. But it might be some native Australian species that I don’t know. It just all of a sudden reminded me the trees which had similar flowers in the kindergarten where I stayed. I had so much fun collecting their pink flowers falling on the ground. That was my sweet childhood time :-)

I was tired on the way back, nearly fell asleep in the car. The past two days had been like a respite for me to get away from my housework duties. Now I have to think about cooking something tonight.
