Sometimes my husband is really a genius….he knows when where and what…. the shop would open…hehe…..
The Fish Market will be open from 23rd 5am to 24th 5pm. Well…I didn’t expect going to Fish Market at the night, neither did I expect the experience of being there could be so great!!!
It was raining, but with Junee driving the car, what did we need to worry about? I just wanted to have seafood as much as I can. The biological rhythm of mine and my husband has been disturbed. We took off this morning at about 9am, and arrived Sydney until 12pm. Had Jessy made beef pies at her place, and wandered in Hurstville for several hours after the lunch. Until 8:30pm, we still didn’t feel hungry. But as the Fish market’s trading hours being confirmed once again, my appetite suddenly went well. I was looking forward to having night eating the freshest seafood at the waterside and listening to stall owners yelling out about their products.
I can’t believe I was actually sitting there at the end, with Jessy and Junee. The great thing about Jess and Junee is they pretty much have the same kind of food preference as us. We ordered oysters, prawns, mixing seafood platter, Junee also bought us a box of Salmon and sea weed. I love all of them….I kept eating and eating as if I have never eaten them before. It’s a pity that this was the first time I’ve been to Fish Market. I wondered why I would have missed out going there during those two years of living in Sydney. It’s a funny thing eating in the dark, in the wind and misty rain. I can hear the sea water making a gentle noise 5 meters away our table. When I got in, I wanted to buy something back after the meal, but after I had the meal, I had no energy to carry on my plan
I was too full and satisfying. I say…I would definitely come back again
