After a long time’s sufferring, we eventually managed to escape from Optus. Now we are with TPG on broadband and getting back to Mommy Telstra for landline:-) The nightmare with Optus is over. We won’t go back no matter what temptation the Optus would offer me. Anyway, Optus won’t be that generous like this. When we left Telstra one and half years ago. They offered us a LCD handset if we switched back to them. History can be a funny thing, if you really want to have a close and deep look at it. Unfortunately people intened to live in the moment but not review much about what had just passed.
We are glad that we have finished our first new year resolution in the first month. Now with TPG, the pleasure of enjoy super fast internet ADSL2+ (24M per second) becomes a possible thing. The first night, we have used 4G by downloading some of my favourite female jazz and other vocalists’ albums including Katie Melua, Silje Nergaard, Patricia Barber, Lisa Ekdahl and Eva Cassidy. The downloading almost finished in a flash speed. Now I see where the biggest problem will be the next. We need to well control the quantity and suppress part of our desire for more good stuff:-)

NB: the above chart is just a rough comparison about ordinary ADSL and ADSL2+. I used Kern’s picture. I think it’s great to explain the fact.
