This is certainly the last thing I want to know in the world, but it’s happening now. Sadly enough, it’s happening on the oldest brother, the strongest, tallest and bushiest one of 5, who is suffering
I have a lot of regrets…I shouldn’t have taken them outside for a long period of time, like more than a full day….I should have applied Yates Blitzem Snail & Slug Protection beforehand….I should have cleaned the courtyard more often, especially when we are getting a lot of rain these days….
But to be honest, I still couldn’t decide which type of bugs could have done the damage like this one, making small holes and chewing the edges of leaves?? I did spot some of snails’s dead bodies around my other plants outside (after I used bait), but I couldn’t find any other bugs in the scene.
Here in my yard, the most common seen insects are spiders. They are everywhere in this place, making webs and building “roads” even from cloth lines to our camping chairs. But I don’t think they love chewing leaves. Another guess is flea beetles, but I just read them from the Internet, don’t know how they look like and never seen one.
I have been very obsessed with sweeping the yard, which sometimes made my husband believe that I am a bit sick. But I have to do it. Located under 3 big trees, this courtyard gets a lots of falling leaves, branches and unexpected visitors from insect world.
Lucky that there is only one plant was affected and others are okay. Now I took them back to indoor again. Just can’t afford the next damage. yes, the window sill looks safer.
