It seems that growing chillies outside can speed up maturity. I don’t know where I get this funny theory, but it was kind of proved well in the past two days.
You know it took a long time to form big flower buds for my chillies, but since I put the pots outside yesterday, this morning when I was watering them, I saw one bud became a real chilli flower. WOW!:-)

It has star-shaped 6 white petals, in the middle is a long sticking out stamens surrounded by many dark purple pistils. Very funny shape!

Now I can’t help wondering where the chilli fruit is going to grow on. At the end of flower? or in the middle of pistil? Would it grow ending up like a cucumber or eggplant with a small flower attached on their tails or the flower must fall off then the fruit starts to set? Do they need to be pollinated?……Questions and questions, have to be patient to wait and find out.
