We spent the whole day to carry out a big plan, moving the things around, totally swapping the bedroom and the study room. The story behind this is that the winter is happening in this hemisphere. Our study room, which is facing the south and got no sunshine coming in the room during the day time, has become a painful place to stay.
As my husband spends his most of time in this room doing his research, we felt it becomes a crucial issue to make sure he can stay in a warm place, just being away off the cold air and keeping his hands and feet warm all day.
We thought of all the possibilities, and decided to re-settle our study room in our current bedroom, which is bigger and gets the sun. More importantly, for most of time it’s idle and been such a waste for collecting the natural heat. Considering that we only use the bedroom at the night sleeping time and we also have electric blanket, it would be an ideal solution to move our bed to the study room and save it for whom really needs it.
It took us the whole morning to relocate the furniture. My husband continued to work on the cables, broadband and telephone connection in the afternoon. However, after have settled everything in place finally, we found that our plan did go as we assumed and work very well.
Now we are sitting in the last beacon of the sunset, feeling the fresh air flowing in our new study room. It still has enough room for us to stretch out even after put so many stuff in here.
Well, on the other side, our new bedroom is small but cosy. I decorated the wall by hanging up a painting we bought from Li Jiang. I am sure I will have a good sleep tonight. We both felt exhausted and got sore body at the end of the day.
