Today is just for cleaning the desk, finishing off things, refilling the desktop calendar, filing away the documents in the out-tray. Everybody was in the good mood. We turned the radio on, listening to the music and laughing around. I will be leaving at 1PM.

I’ve received many Xmas cards this year. There is one from our big boss, the general manager for the whole community services among all 3 big sessions. She gave me very personal compliments in the card, appreciating my contribution towards the work, also mentioned that she is impressed by my skills and efficiency. I was so amazed how she could remember me so well. And, certainly this is the best present from the work of my 4 months’ working here.

I think for the last 4 months, I have achieved more than what I initially thought. I had a really good time working here and building up a new network. I am quite happy with what I’ve done so far. Next year, I will be starting a new position in a more professional area, working with other experienced staff as a care planner. I believe there will be lots to learn and also challenging.

I can’t wait for that….

and my 4 days getaway in Sydney……
