Both my husband and I was not aware of our roles in Jessy’s Wedding. After Bride and Groom signed their Marriage Centificate, the lady presides the registration ceramony asked the witnesses to sign the certificate as well. I was a bit hesitated to come over to the table for a very short while, but soon confirmed that my husband and I will be the witnesses to give our official signatures in this legal document. (We are not officalily bride and groom’s bridemaid and best man as we all know it’s not going to be a very formal wedding), but, what a great honour! I was excited!!!!! Gave my signature in someone else’s marriage certificate, and that certificate might be the most important document for a couple. Wow! maybe it’s a bit scary as well…..How could I be that person who take such a big responsibility :-) By the way, I think my signature was not very bad. (note: the left photo of certificate of marriage is just a sample. Look the right bottom corner. It was the place I signed my name :-) )

Anyway, I was already moved by the time when the lady announced they are now husband and wife although the shy groom didn’t really kiss the bride, my all middle school time best friend Jessy in front of all the people in the room. It was still sweet and warm to see them being connected forever with this sweet and warm ceramony. I almost cried, but finally persuaded myself not let the tears coming out. That was the most touching moment. I just wish they will always have this kind of moment for all their lives, being together, love each other and look after each other, finding his or her another half forever the one suits them the best.

The following reception was held in Marigold restaurant in China Town, which is the best seafood restaurant in Sydney, according to recommendation of one of articles published on American National Geography. The meal went about 3 hours. We had many many delicious food, one after one, and after one, there was another one, till we all felt too full to go ahead. It’s even more impressive because it’s not like the waiter getting all the dishes on the table and leave you. We had the meal course by course, between every two course, there is a little interval, which made the digestion work goes very well and enhance our ability to intake more food.

Actually I think Jessy and Juni picked the best timing to get married. Guess what! We happened to see the celebration activities in Syney China Twon for Chinese New Year after the reception. The fire crakers sounded loud, and dragon was dancing, it was very crowded. I have never seen so many people in City. For people like me and my husband, who have been staying in a country area for such a long time and almost forgot what the crowd means, it’s absolute something makes us excited. What a fully loaded day!
