The first thing I did was to go to our new office location to have a tour. We are going to move in in the first week of August. The new office is located right opposite to the Council’s HR House next to the Eyecare Plus shop front.

To me, it’s a super modern two storied house with 360 degree glass window and cherry red glass frame. It has proper kitchens and dinning places both upstairs and downstairs. It is bright, warm and looks really good to me. I have already started to imagine the sunshine coming through the east windows casting its beacons on my desk in the early morning.

I guess the era with Ian McNamee is over. There will be no more power surge problem, bad air circulation, air con craps and cold feet in the winter. I told my colleagues that this new office might keep me staying in this job a little bit longer :-)

We have two people leaving. It’s sad but sometimes changes are good. I had distributed the gifts from China to my colleagues today and they all loved the Chinese Jian Zhi (Paper Cutting Craft). The double sided embroidery that I chose is a great success. My colleague and her family all loved the flowers and butterfly on the thing. I am not sure about silk fabric at this stage as it’s kind of personal gift that we don’t want to discuss it in the public.

I haven’t forgotten the things that I am supposed to do at the work. I just picked them up easily. Well, I still can speak and understand English quite well. What a surprise!!!

I am still doing the unpacking at home, and I haven’t touched the laundry work yet. We are too tired and I just don’t want to chuck the things into the wardrobe to get rid of them. I am trying to sort them out in a nicer way.
