We started from 2:00pm and finished until 9:30pm. The super luxury BBQ stove seemed working pretty well. Apart from the enjoyment of being a cook turning over the stuff on the stove and eating outdoor in the lovely sunshine, I also enjoyed watering the lavender and grass growing in our friend’s garden and seeing the bike riders passing by. Mind you that they did give us that sort of craving look when they smelled the BBQ smoke from us.
The menu included: Italian sausages, Spicy African lamb sausages, marinated caramali rings, green king prawns, lamb chops, lamb cutlets, hot chicken wings and vegetable salad (with tomatoes, cucumbers and lettuce). I believe that I did most of the preparation work and after meal cleaning. As a guest, I think I might have done too much. But it’s all worth it. It was very yummy, and we ate everything till we can eat no more.
Guys had beers and this time they even stood up and did the cooking. I guess it was just too big fun in doing the BBQ, so they can not resist getting involved so much. We also had ice cream between two meals. Emilie and I ran out for Belconnen to get Nestlé’s original vanilla flavoured one. It tastes just too creamy and sweet.
My husband obviously had his heart beat on this kind of BBQ. He mentioned the possibility to get a stove like that, so we can barbe at home ourselves. I certainly have no objection of that if we have a big house with a big backyard, or either we have a big porch. But now, no!
