I admitted that sometimes my husband has got some sort of thing that people called “style” or “taste”. I was so impressed that one day when I came back from work, I saw one of his study room’s walls had a total different look. Let’s say, it looked quite good.

What he did was to open up a coloured paper folder, stick it on the wall with blue tack or double sided sticky tape vertical way. Then he attached his assorted coloured and sized post-it notes on to this folder to cover the folder. As the paper folder was dark green, and he does have neon yellow, orange, pink, blue, green and purple post notes available in his hands all the time, they made a beautiful contrast to the background green colour.

More importantly, this is kind of decoration that you don’t have to worry about drilling a holes, using a nail or whatever the things that could ruin the surface of the wall. This particularly matters if you are living in a renting place and not allowed to do anything worse the house condition.

You can also stick some photos or other pretty stuff on the background folder to make it more variety. If you feel one folder is not enough, try to use more than one, like using green and purple paper folders at the same time, you will be impressed with what it turns out.

I drew a little picture about the scene I am talking about. Not good at drawing, but you will be able to figure out the rest of good things I didn’t mention :-)
