Officialy, today is my EDD, but guess what, I am still pregnant.
I am not so much surprised, as I am quite prepared of myself to expect to have a 42 weeks pregnancy, though I admit that I am getting a tiny little bit impatient, but mostly because of the hot weather that has been like in the recent week.
I supose that this is about what it takes to have a summer baby. I am almost covered by my sweat all the time, and carrying a watermelon sized baby won’t help the situation. I had to think about having showers more than twice a day and wave the bamboo fan day and night.
To me, the night time of these weeks have been extremely difficult. I can hardly turn the body over from one side to another. Every inch of my pelvis is hurting when I try to move during the sleep, and sometimes there were more than two cramps happening on one leg at the same time, which made me particularly confused and helpless, as I don’t know which way I can stretch to ease both places.
However, I am still very “high”, trying to do as much as I can. It’s not so much about being active, it’s about being me, a person who doesn’t really enjoy being relaxed or just letting it go.
To be honest, I have never expected to have so much energy during my pregnancy (which pretty much started from day one), but now I am quite sure I have beaten most of what has been said about being weak when pregnant. Totally busted it!!!!! Hehe……
