Today is the day, our No.8th anniversary day.
With 8 years, you can do a hell lot of things. After 8 years, the war between China and Japan has come to the end; With 8 years, my niece has graduated from the primary school and entered the middle school; With 8 years, she also passed the grade 8 on piano playing; With 8 years, the kid you gave the birth would be able to shout at you back or go shopping or buy things with their spare changes in their own pocket; with 8 years, a woman can reduce their weight from being very big to being quite slim; With 8 years, a man can gain enough fortune by running a business starting from a baby to a mature and active member in the market. With 8 years, China can build lots of facilities to prepare for the Olympic Games; within 8 years, you could have already travelled the world for a hundred times (even the theory of 52 days travelling around the whole world is a bit out-of dates.)
But allow me to say, it’s much easier to see your past by seeing what exactly the things you have done on your career, you study, your housework or your money than by just being with someone beside you to have a relationship. I think we did a lot in the past 8 years, but it’s not a lot at all at the same time. The most important thing is you still know you have capacity to modify what between you and another, and willing all the time to make it better. It’s kind of a life-span thing.
So being paper is okay, being wood is fine, being ivory is also okay, and being bronze is all good. No matter where you are, the most important thing is you know where you are, not just the name for each anniversary by years, but where you are really up to in your relationship.
