I am not a sweet food person, but I enjoy these masterpieces that are made of sugar, honey, nuts or other ingredients. My personal experience tells me that these are something you might not be very interested in on the spot but definitely would badly miss once you get away from that place. The humid weather of Chongqing is perfect for keeping the good taste or touch of these great snacks. Once they arrive at Beijing, the things get too hard to chew and taste like stones. This photo was taken to record a very ordinary stall which you could find a lot in this city. If you love crispy sweet, try the Zhi Ma Tang (sesame candy); if your teeth have already started to fall off from your mouth, try the soft mild-tasted He Chuan Tao Pian; If you love munching, take the Niu Pi Tang (ox skin lollies); If you are like me, a savoury food lover, Guai Wei Dou (bizzare-tasted beans) would be the best choice of all. Grab some in a paper or plastic bag (after you pay for them), put them into your mouth at the same time watching the sexy Chongqing girls passing by in the streets. Wouldn’t it be nice?
